Hosting mode: open the same FileDost website on both devices and use the 6 digit pairing code for verification.

For local XAMPP testing, keep phone and computer on the same Wi‑Fi/LAN, then open FileDost using the computer IPv4 address, for example http://192.168.31.189/mytools/filedost/. The normal interface remains hosting-style and does not show network-selection options.
If mobile cannot open the local IP address, allow Apache HTTP Server through Windows Defender Firewall for Private networks and confirm the IPv4 address using ipconfig.
